The Eggertsville Hose Company is a proud 100% volunteer fire department serving the Western New York community of Eggertsville in just outside of Buffalo. We have been answering the "CALL" since our original formation in 1906 and later incorporation in 1908.

  • Friday, May 9, 2008 - In celebration of our 100th Anniversary we will parade from our old station at 3826 Main St. to our current home at 1880 Eggert Rd. The parade will start at 6:00 p.m. at Main and Maynard, proceed north to Eggert Rd and turn west down Eggert ending at the station. Please help celebrate with us along the parade route!

INCIDENT WIRE

  • April 24, 2008 - A garage fire ignighted by a car inside the garage at 53 Carmen Dr. caused more than $60,000 damage. The garage and car were a total loss and homes at 45 and 57 Carmen suffered exposure damage.
  • December 5, 2007 - A single room structure fire at 151 Alberta Dr. is believed to have been started by a space heater being placed near fabric.
  • October 6, 2007- A structure fire at 388 Windermere Blvd. started when candles were left burning unattended. Damage was estimated at $50,000.
  • September 6, 2007 - A basement fire at 226 Coronation caused $150,000 damage. The fire started in the basement when lint near a clothes dryer ignited and spread to the upper floor.
  • March 25, 2007 - A house fire at 81 Lamont (above). caused $200,000 damage. The fire started in the breezeway and quickly spread to the house and garage. Crews did a great job containing the fire but were unable to save two pet cats that perished in the blaze.
